About Me

My name is Eddie Brega, hence the clever domain name of this site. While this web site started as a way to post my work online (and possibly get a job out of it), it has since evolved into what you see now - a directionless, primarily pointless web site that for some reason I continue to update every few months out of boredom. I'm basically a technology-loving geek without a purpose. I guess I just keep this site up in the off chance that something will happen because of it. Yes, I'm that stupid.

I graduated from Chapman University, receiving a BFA in Film and Television Production. The two films mentioned on this web site were done while I was a student at Chapman. I was also active in my university's radio station, KNAB, as the Director of Engineering, Talk Director and a DJ.

My experience since Chapman ranges from feature films (Holes, Stealing Harvard, First Daughter, etc.) to television (American Idol, The Price is Right, etc.). In the summer of 2005, I began work on the biggest project of my career so far. It is a documentary called Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade. It premiered as an official selection of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. Since then it has been in other festivals, including the Los Angeles Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and the New York United Film Festival.

I am currently working as a video producer at a small TV station in the Houston area.
